External Communications

Since June of 2018, I have been extremely blessed to be a part of the external communications team at Disney Parks, Experiences & Products (DPEP) in the Burbank-Glendale region. The following are some of the highlights of my time working with both our global public relations and public affairs segments.

Disney parks, experiences & products conservation announcement

A month into my time with the DPEP External Communications team, our segment announced Disney Parks would eliminate single-use plastics. I was proud to work closely with my public affairs director on designing social media images and graphics as well as crafting social copy that would deliver our message. Presented here is an early infographic I created in Photoshop that laid out how we could convey our commitment to conservation visually. The Nemo-focused storyboards were a collaborative effort between myself and our creative team for a social media GIF concept we ultimately did not pursue. The final vertical infographic was our segment’s official insert within our Disney Parks Blog post and our social content.

dpep’s official social campaign for “national plan for vacation day”

This one was my baby from start to finish, and I’m thrilled with how it developed from my early concept art to the final Disney Parks Blog post and social copy! National Plan for Vacation Day takes place in January, a notably slower period for us at DPEP, which gave me the creative challenge to draft and create engaging content able to excite our guests about planning their upcoming Disney vacations.

social copy for dpep’s ongoing “disney aspire” campaign

I’m honored to have watched Disney Aspire take shape from the ground up, and that cannot be emphasized enough in the social copy I wrote to promote the first several Disney Aspire-focused Disney Parks Blog posts across our parks-owned handles.
