Design Writing
The term "show writing" was foreign to me until I transferred to SCAD, where I ended up collaborating as a show writer for various creative projects from mobile games to themed entertainment experiences.
"Gold Dust run"
This is the final presentation for my team's submission for the 2018 Walt Disney Imaginations Competition. The challenge was to revitalize a "ghost town." Our proposed resort, "Gold Dust Run," transformed Bodie, California into an entertaining and educational destination for families.
"the summit"
This is the script I co-wrote with another writer for SCAD's student-run themed entertainment experience, "The Summit," which will debut in February, 2018.
"Project aedes - interactive attraction"
As the head writer on "Project Aedes," a completely student-created and run themed entertainment attraction, I was tasked to write the attraction's pre-show and post-show. The attraction had a week-long run in February, 2017. Watch the full POV here.
"Savannah Station"
For the 2017 Walt Disney Imaginations Competition, my team created an environmental-based story and concept, "Savannah Station," and out of thousands of entries, we made it to the semi-final rounds of the competition. I was the head writer on the project and produced all the written material seen in the final slideshow.
Ghosts' Obsession
I worked with two game designers, an interior designer, and an illustrator to bring "Ghosts' Obsession," an interactive desktop and mobile app, to life over a three-month period.
